Kobrin District
The Kobrin District lies in the south-west of the region, 2,013 km², and borders the Volyn Region of Ukraine in the south. Kobrin is first mentioned in the Hypatian Chronicle under the year 1287; in 1589 the town received Magdeburg rights and a coat of arms. The town and the district were merged into one administrative unit in 2002.
The Kobrin area has the most maps here: besides the general and detailed district maps and the plan of Kobrin, all thirteen village councils on sections of a topographic map, a tourist route along the district borders and the Kobrin Uyezd in 1898.
