Ivanovo District

The Ivanovo District lies in the south of the region, 1,547 km², and borders the Volyn Region of Ukraine in the south. It was formed on 15 January 1940 as part of the Pinsk Region and joined the Brest Region in 1954, when the Pinsk Region was abolished. In 1921-1939 these lands belonged to Poland.
